McGruder, 72, Also known as Mr. Max, A United States Army Veteran, founder of Downers Grove Tattoo, where he was the first tattooist in Du Page County and most recently a tattooist at A Skin of Another Color tattoo shop in Aurora, IL. Craig is survived by his beloved wife Barbara; loving father of Eric Lewis, Alicia Lewis, Kristin (John) Cunningham and Elaine Bryar; dear grandfather of Anthony, Nolan, Caleb and Jonah; fond brother of Tom McGruder and Jerry McGruder; loving uncle of many nieces and nephews.
