Obituary for LaVergne A. Gozdziak
LaVergne A. Gozdziak 77, affectionately known as Cookie, passed away on February 3, 2022. Dear sister of George Gozdziak; loving aunt of Jennifer Hodges, Vicki (Jeff) Engel, Elizabeth Coglianese and Vincent Gozdziak; cherished daughter of the late Vincent and late Adeline Gozdziak. Cremation for Cookie was private. A memorial mass will be celebrated on Monday, February 21st. at 10 A.M. at St. Mary of Czestochowa Church located on the corner of 30th. St. & 48th. Ct. in Cicero. Family will be receiving guests after the mass at 11 A.M. in the back of church. Afterward, a memorial luncheon will be served at the Bohemian Crystal Restaurant located at 639 Blackhawk Drive, Westmont, IL. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Hinsdale Humane Society or St. Mary of Czestochowa Church preferred. For additional information, call Suburban Family Funeral Home at 708-652-1116.
