Peggy Muncy, 77, left this life for her eternal home on Friday, December 27, 2024 She was born on September 14, 1947 in Oakland, CA to Master Sargent (USMC) Joseph William Simpkins and Alvanna (Evans) Simpkins. Shortly thereafter, the family relocated to Camp Lejeune, NC. After the passing of her father in May, 1959, the family moved to Caretta, WV. Peggy graduated from Big Creek High School in War, WV in 1965. After High School, Peggy went to Cicero, IL and began her working career. It was in Cicero that she met her husband Ralph Muncy. Peggy and Ralph were married in December 1966. Peggy was the loving mother of Mike (Rosie) Muncy, and Jason (Veronica) Muncy; dear grandmother of Jason, Jr., Abigail, Norina and Josefina Muncy, AJ and Sydney Uribe; loving great grandmother of Mateo Uribe; fond sister of Mike (Betsy) Simpkins and Larry Joe (Betty Williams) Simpkins; Peggy was preceded in death by her husband Ralph Muncy and daughter Pam (Muncy) Wooton. Visitation Tuesday, December 31st. from 9:00 A.M. until time of service at 11:00 A.M. at Suburban Family Funeral Home 5940 W. 35th. St. (Corner of 35th. St. & Austin) Cicero.
