Obituary for Rev. Antoni J. Bradlo
Reverend Antoni J. Bradlo was born on August 12, 1932 in Lubcza, Poland. He entered the Congregation of the Most Holy Redeemer in 1949. After completing his novitiate in Braniewo, he took his first vows on August 5, 1950 and professed his perpetual vows on August 2, 1955. On June 29, 1957, he was ordained into the priesthood in Tuchow, Poland by Bishop Wlodzimierz Jasinski. He completed a year long missionary preparatory course and began working as a missionary and retreat giver in Glogow (1964), Gliwice (1965), Braniewo (1966-67), Lomnica (1970), Gdynia (1972-73), Wroclaw (1973-77). He spent several years doing missionary work in Argentina working in the Vice Province of Resistencia (1967-69 & 1977-88). He also worked in the United States serving parishes that offered ministry in Spanish and Polish (Hightstown 1989-2007 & Chicago 2007-2013). After retiring from active ministry, he belonged to the monastery house in Tuchow (starting in 2013). He spent the last months of his life in the United States of America.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, April 5, 2016 at 3:00 P.M. at St. Mary of Czestochowa Church, 3010 S. 48th. Ct. in Cicero, IL.
Father's ashes will arrive in Poland later that week and will be buried in his home country.
