Obituary for Ruth Judis
Ruth Judis nee Maple, 89, at rest August 3, 2013 due to Parkinson's Disease. Born December 21, 1923 to Charles and Myrtle Maple. Beloved wife of the late William, loving mother of Linda (Steve) Lake, Mary Beth (late John) Chavoen, late Steven and late Nancy, dear grandmother of seven granddaughters and great grandmother of eight, fond sister of Clara (late Brandt) Phillips and sister-in-law of Mary Lou Maples. Ruth retired from Sears in 1988. She previously worked at Cicero Terminal Freight 754 Division. She was an active member of the Sears Retiree Club, a faithful volunteer at the Chicago Food Depository and was a Cook Co. judge of elections for many years. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 7th. 4 P.M. at the Wesley United Methodist Church, 6011 W. 36th. St. Cicero, IL. In lieu of flowers, charitable donations to the church are preferred. For additional information, call 708-652-1116.
