Kahovec, 77, United States Marine Corps Veteran of the Vietnam War and member of the Lemont Post #5819 VFW, Beloved husband of the late Geraldine; Only son of the late William C. and late Anne Kahovec; loving stepfather of Marjorie (Tom Carbonaro) Hyland, Terrance Hyland, Vanesa Hyland, Zegory Hyland, Aaron (Howe Ng) Hyland and Kevin Hyland; dear grandfather of Jonathan (Daisy Rodriguez) Hyland, Jeremiah Musick, Dale and Seth Hyland; great grandfather of Ayana, Andrew, Anderson, David and Alexa; fond brother in law of Brittney (late Paul) Blauser, late Dewey Eugene (Nancy) Smith and late Donald Smith; dear cousin of Marianne (nee Langer) and late George Adair, Darlene (nee Jamrisko) and Henry Richter, Dorothy (nee Langer)and late Robert Troost, Mike and Judy Jamrisko and Steve Jean Jamrisko; also survived by nieces and nephews.
