Obituary for Helen Szymankowski
Helen Szymankowski,93, passed away peacefully with home hospice in Cicero, Illinois on August 18, 2021; loving mother of Elizabeth, of Cicero; beloved wife of the late Zygmunt; devoted daughter of the late Tymoteusz and Jozefa Demczuk; fond sister of Walter Demczuk of Poland; dear cousin of Adam Demczuk, also of Poland. She was an officer and active member of the Polish Alliance, Council 55 and the Cicero Society Group 825 as well as the Women's Auxiliary of the Polish Army Veterans of America. Many friends in these organizations will miss her very much. May she rest in peace in God's loving embrace. Visitation Tuesday, August 24th. at Suburban Family Funeral Home 5940 W. 35th.
